Marker collects no health data. Your lab reports and values are read and stored only on your iPhone. There is no account, no login, and no server that stores your documents. The one thing collected is purchase data, processed by Apple and RevenueCat to validate your purchase (see Purchases below) — so in App Store privacy terms Marker is declared under Purchases. Your report content is never collected and never leaves your device.
When you import a lab report, Marker reads it on your device to lay out each value next to the reference range printed on that same report. You can import four ways — a PDF, the iOS share sheet, your camera, or manual entry — and in every case the report and the extracted values stay in the app's local storage on your iPhone.
Where supported, Marker uses Apple's on-device frameworks (such as PDFKit, Vision, and — on capable devices — Apple's on-device Foundation Models) to help read your reports. This runs on your device; no report content is sent to us or to any third party for it.
When you choose to export or share, the file is generated locally on your device and handed to a destination you pick through Apple's share sheet — Marker itself sends nothing to a server.
Marker offers a one-time Lifetime purchase and an auto-renewable yearly subscription. Billing is handled by Apple's StoreKit — we never see your name, email, or payment details. To manage the entitlement across your devices, Marker uses RevenueCat as purchase infrastructure. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous app-user ID and your purchase status, but not your identity and not your lab data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. RevenueCat is the only third party Marker uses.
None that identifies you. Marker contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising identifiers, and no user accounts. The only data that leaves your device is the anonymous purchase data described above.
Marker is for informational use only and is not a medical device. It shows your lab values next to the reference ranges printed on your own report and describes what each value measures. It does not provide a diagnosis, medical advice, or treatment recommendations, and it does not define its own reference ranges. Always talk to a qualified healthcare professional about your results.
Marker is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Your lab data is processed solely on your device under your control (access, deletion and portability are yours by design). The limited purchase data processed by RevenueCat and Apple serves only to process and manage your purchase. You may contact us at any time to exercise your rights.
Marker does not sell or share personal information.
If what Marker collects or transmits ever changes, this policy will be updated with a new date above, and a notice will appear in the app before the change takes effect.
