Your bank statements never leave your device. summa reads every PDF statement entirely on your iPhone to produce a spreadsheet. It has no account, no login, and no server that stores your documents. The only network activity is processing your purchase.
Statements are parsed on-device using Apple's frameworks (PDFKit, Vision, and — on capable devices — Apple's on-device Foundation Models). Nothing about your statement content is sent to us or to any third party.
Excel and CSV exports are generated locally on your device and handed to a destination you choose through Apple's share sheet — summa itself sends nothing to a server.
summa offers a one-time Lifetime purchase and an auto-renewable yearly subscription. Billing is handled by Apple's StoreKit — we never see your name, email, or payment details. To manage the entitlement across your devices, summa uses RevenueCat as purchase infrastructure. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous app-user ID and your purchase status, but not your identity and not your statement data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. RevenueCat is the only third party summa uses.
None that identifies you. summa contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising identifiers, and no user accounts. The only data that leaves your device is the anonymous purchase data described above.
summa is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Your statement data is processed solely on your device under your control (access, deletion and portability are yours by design). The limited purchase data processed by RevenueCat and Apple serves only to process and manage your purchase. You may contact us at any time to exercise your rights.
summa does not sell or share personal information.
If what summa collects or transmits ever changes, this policy will be updated with a new date above, and a notice will appear in the app before the change takes effect.
