Vow

A word you keep.
Not a fight you win.

Willpower is the wrong tool for a phone. It holds right up until the point you are tired, and then it doesn't, and another evening has gone somewhere you did not choose.

Vow turns putting the phone down into a small ritual instead. Start a phase or tap a sticker, and the apps you named are genuinely out of reach until the phase ends.

Choosing a phase: deep work, family time or sleep, each with its own blocking rules. Family time running in a forest world, with a slide to end control and a limited emergency exit. Setting up a phase: which apps to block, which world to show, and whether it starts and ends on its own.

What it does

Phases, not one blunt switch

Deep work, family time and sleep each carry their own list of what stays reachable. Being unreachable at the dinner table does not have to mean the same thing as being unreachable at your desk.

Started by a gesture, not a menu

Put an NFC sticker on the desk, the kitchen table or the bedside, and touching the phone against it begins or ends the phase. The small physical act is doing most of the work.

Rules you set once

Block a chosen list, or allow only a chosen list and shut out everything else. Start on a schedule if you want. End never, after a set time, or at a fixed hour.

A way out that costs something

A short pause and a small, countable number of emergency exits. Real emergencies get through; idly reaching for the phone does not, because it has to be a decision.

Privacy

Your phases and settings stay on your device. There is no account and no analytics. The blocking itself runs through Apple's own Screen Time framework, so which apps you picked stays inside that system.
