Heat, then cold.
Both timed properly.

There is no clock in the sauna you actually trust, and the plunge always felt longer than it was. So you estimate, and the week ends without you really knowing whether you did enough of either.

floe times both and keeps the running weekly total. Leave the phone on the bench with your towel; the timer carries on without it.

The week so far: 22 of 57 heat minutes, 3 of 11 cold minutes, and a seven week streak.
Setting up a sauna session: three rounds, fifteen minutes each, five minute breaks, 85 degrees.
A cold plunge in progress, counting up: two minutes eighteen immersed.
Progress: longest hold four minutes, 44 sessions, heat and cold time split, and a month of sessions as dots.

What it does

A sauna round that runs itself

Set the rounds, the minutes per round and the break once. From then on floe counts each round down and tells you when to go back in, with a Live Activity on the Lock Screen so the phone can stay out of the cabin.

The plunge counts up, not down

You rarely know in advance how long you will last, so the cold timer counts up towards your target rather than down from it. Getting out early still logs the time you actually held.

A week measured against a protocol

Heat and cold minutes accumulate towards a weekly target instead of a daily one, so a quiet Tuesday is simply something Saturday can make up for. The week is what counts, not the streak.

Sessions land in Apple Health

Each finished session is written to Health as a workout, so it shows up alongside everything else you track. Totals, longest holds and awards stay in floe itself.

Privacy

Your sessions live on your device. There is no account to make, nothing is uploaded, and floe collects no analytics. The one thing it writes to is Apple Health, and only after you have granted permission.
